At what time is check in and check out?
You can check in after 2pm and you have to check out at 11 am. You can always ask us if you have other requirements and we will do our best to help you.
Can you help with excursions?
Absolutely, our manager Ruwan will gladly help you to plan your excursions.
How do we get to Villa Vanna?
From Bandaranaike Airport north of Colombo it takes about 2,5 hours by car. You find directions to the villa here.
Can you arrange airport transfer?
Yes, we know some great drivers that can pick you up and leave you at the airport at an additional cost.
Do we always have the villa to ourselves?
Yes!
Tropical animals
We are it the tropics and you should be aware that we sometimes have visitors also at Villa Vanna. The monkeys in trees are lovely to watch but please let them stay in the trees and do not try to feed them.
Snakes are not uncommon in the area, however our dog Maya ensures that snakes are uncommon visitors in the garden. We also keep the garden tidy to the dislike of the snakes. Should you in the unlikely event see a snake in the garden please tell one of the staff. Most of them are harmless but you can never be too careful.
Do you have pets?
Yes we do! We have a dog called Maya. She was born on the streets and then left with her siblings outside Dog Care Clinic in Talpe. We adopted her and now she lives at Villa Vanna helping out with security and to keep unwanted animals away (when she is not busy playing with friends). Maya loves kids and is always up for a cuddle.
Do you have tuc tuc service?
We work with some trustworthy drivers and are happy to call them for you.
Can we use the kitchen?
Yes.
Do you serve lunch and dinner?
Yes we do but you have to order dinner before 11 am in the morning so that we can plan and shop the groceries fresh at the market.
Is breakfast included?
Yes! You can choose between Sri lankan, Wester or the healthy option.
Is the staff around 24/7?
Yes, there is always someone at the villa to take care of you.
How far is it to the beach?
The nearest beach is 2 km away, or 5 minutes in tuc tuc. You will reach Unawatuna Beach in 10 minutes with a tuc tuc.
Do you have a chef?
Yes, chef Ruwan prepares the most delicious meals on your request.
