Our neighbourhood - The real Sri Lanka

In the small junction on the main road there are a few local shops where you can get small necessities like vegetables, fruits, eggs, crisps or soft drinks. The locals will always greet you with a huge smile!

We have 4 good quality mountain bikes at Villa Vanna that you are most welcome to use to explore the neighborhood. There are a lot of small roads around perfect for biking. 

It is something special walking around by the paddy fields, the green colors are just breathtaking. There are loads of small roads around the villa with hardly any traffic, perfect for an early morning walk, or late afternoon if you are a sleepyhead!

The animals are a big part of Sri Lanka and around the villa you find a lot of typical Sri Lankan animals. Peacocks, monkeys jumping in the trees, lizards, squirrels and of course the beautiful Kingfisher. You will most probably see all of them when staying with us.
